Serving Seniors Summer Picnic returns to the Waldorf Social Club June 22, 3 to 6 p.m.
Enjoy ample food choices and the music from the Doug Smith Band. Take a shot at a large basket raffle. Or, put together a four-person volleyball team and play for fun and prizes. All proceeds go to fund Serving Seniors programs offered throughout NEPA, including long-term care ombudsman, guardianship, and patient advocacy. Well covered, the event will be rain or shine.
The event is held in memory of Bill Tonkin, an educator, and longtime Serving Seniors director. Tickets are $40 per person. You may reserve your place by sending a check with the named individuals to Serving Seniors Inc. Att: Summer Picnic, 116 N. Washington Ave. Suite 2E, Scranton, PA 18503.
